Is it possible to play Crysis on Vista with DX9 settings?

Is it??If yes how can I do it?Is it possible to play Crysis on Vista with DX9 settings?
you can run in dx9 mode, right click in games explorer '' Play dx9''or ''-dx9'' switch on the shortcut/exe Is it possible to play Crysis on Vista with DX9 settings?
start/games then right click the crysis logo and play in DX9.
Running it on DX10 shouldn't impact your performance because it's more efficient and your cards built for it obviously. Also it seems like DX10 is the very high features so just stick it all on high?
I was under the impression that the very high settings were the DX10-enabled settings (and that that was why you couldn't enable them in XP). Am I wrong? If so, why can't you enable very high in XP?
very high settings are only available in the menu for vista/dx10 usersmost of the very high settings can be enabled on dx9 xp, exclusing some things like object blur, 3d waves and a few other very high settings but you can get it looking near as good in dx9 as dx10Also dx9 on vista runs better than dx10 for most people.
thats true very high settings i believe are DX10 settings because they are not enabled on XP. So my best guess is just set it to high settings and there you ahve DX9....
