Any programs that close background processes?

Want to make sure they don't interfere with Crysis...Any programs that close background processes?
click start>>run then type in ''msconfig'' without the '''''sin thw window click the circle next to ''selective startup'' and untick the box ''load startup items''then reboot your machine and nothing will begin on startup except for the stuff required to run windows, that should help :)Any programs that close background processes?
Yes. msconfig is best.If youonly want to temporarily cut the background processes you can just ctrl+alt+del and manually shut them down. Bear in mind that some of the processes will be needed but things like spooling programs, antivirus progs, etc' can be shut down as long as you remember to restartbefore you print or use the internet.
If you don't have a multi-core cpu get one, that is your bestoption for that.
