Trying to install the Sims 2, but it wont start up. I put the disk in and it does nothing. I try to start it up from the desktop, nothing works. I've tried both the CD and DvD drive (4 disks in total, not DvD disks) not responding. I looked at the disk and I saw some smudges around the edges that wont come out and some scratches circling the disk (first one). I'd like to know if I can get this to work without having to buy a new copy.Sims 2 wont install

Here: Got an error message, it says: ''A Hardware I/O error was reported while accessing E:\AUTORUN\AUTORUN.BMP.''Is this SecuROM conflicting with it? I have installed the game off of this disk many times, but I didnt think it would do this. Hopefully this advancement will get me some help...
