i really wanna switch to pc but i dunno...

i have a 360 and love halo but i realized pc really does dominate in every single way espeically since i saw pc is the dominating console for kids 2-17 but i dunno i heard that its community is fullllllllll of angry nerds even more then x box live so that really sucks and its probably gonna be way expensive can i have some info and help cause i really dont know that much about pc'si really wanna switch to pc but i dunno...
angry nerd lol no, unless you are playing on a pro cs 1.6 server.Come join us, we got cookies :Di really wanna switch to pc but i dunno...
It's more like:Lots of angry nerds on XBL. PC nerds don't like angry XBOX nerds and diss them. XBOX nerds get mad and call PC nerds angry PC nerds.
Just get both platforms, trust me, it's worth it. Idiots are everywhere, both on Xbox Live and any online PC-game.
The PC community for the most part is open and extremely friendly. Compared to the Xbox Live community, they are pretty much all Mother Teresa's. Not only is the community better but the online is extraordinarily better and much more reliable, since many of the dedicated servers are run by supportive members of said community who fund it themselves. If you experience any lag, its probably because someone playing with a 28.8k connection just came on. Most of my online experiences (CoD, DoD, MoHAA, DoDS, SC and AoEII) were for the most part lag free for the many years that I've played them
I have both, and will say without any doubt that the community on XBox Live is 10X worse. Well...let me say this though. PC is filled with more elitist, while XBox Live with angry pre-teens. I guess it depends what group you find more annoying...
You must already own some kind of PC. What about starting with some older games that should run on your computer?
thanks guys ill atleast try some pc games :) if i decide to stay with pc im so excited for spore and crysis!
ya i am im gonna get some old ones first
Do you need any recommendations?
yes kind of i want kotor though and um i dunno ill look on gamespot um what kind of pc should i get ? in the future ?
yes i do but i pretty much know some games what kind of pc should i get?
my suggestion is sell your 360 if you arent too attached to halo (its overrated anyways) and use the money you get to start building a computer. most people believe that computers are a lot more expensive than getting a console but my computer cost me about $1400 when I built it and it is probably less than $1000 by now from price drops, and I bought everything hard drives and etc, and this computer can run Crysis on high graphics with no problems. Now for a console user you usually spend $200 - $300 dollars for the actual console, but then in the PS3's case to make those graphics look good at all you need an HDTV which costs you over $1000, than if you need extra controllers that costs money, games cost a lot more than PC games, and then you need a subscription to play online. If you found any of this useful go to www.newegg.com and check out parts and such, if you need any help choosing what to get feel free to PM me I do this for a living :)
o srry posted pretty same thing twice but first time my computer was freezing so i went back and it must have posted it
ya dan those were some of the reasons i wanna switch cuz i didnt realize that
PC games are awesome. but the gaming PC can be costly...... I, myself, starting to love PC games more and more since I got my gaming PC build.
pc gaming is my choice...yeah i had a 360 but sold it due to all the games coming out this fall.....i had fun with it but not as much as my pc.....i also do ALOT more on my pc than just gaming.....And i like putting them together too....

Sure, PC gaming can be expensive. But, isn't almost any hobby you pick up supposed to cost something? It's a hobby, expect to spend money on doing something you enjoy doing. As for the communities, I can easily say that the PC online community is much better then the XBL. All you get is screaming 5 year olds on XBL. Whenever I play online games for the PC such as DoD:S we just have conversations, talk about how things are going and what has been going on, and share funny things that have happened recently. It's a blast, and I would really suggest it to anyone.I've unplugged my headphones before so my wife could hear what we were talking about, because she was wondering why I was laughing so much. After only 2 minutes of the headset being unplugged, she was laughing away with me.
