I don't use theWASD format, but rather QWESkeys.q = leftw = forwarde = rights = downSeems most people use WASD, but my fingers are closer to hitting the numbers with the QWES setup.discussAre there any other QWES players out there
I never play with QWES format. Are there any other QWES players out there
I never play with QWES format.
I'm one of few crazy people who use Arrow keys, it can be done but my advanced key mapping is....strange..to say the least :-)
Used to be an arrow keys man, now I'm a WASD man.
WASD just so much more practical
WASD has the same ''shape'' as arrow key which is why they were made the standard, having the left and right keys next to the forward key would be confusing for somepeople.Personally I'm juststubbon, been using arrow keys since 1990and won't change.I use Cntl, shift, enter, del, end, Page Down 7,4,1 and 0 (insert) for my control keys. for some games I use even more of the Keypad and ofcourse my extra mouse buttons.
Yeah, I find the WASD setup to be more preferable.
i stopped using it that way in like 1990, but doesnt the extra reach take more time?
I'm a WASD user myself. I've tried the QWES layout a few times, but never really liked the feel of it. I guess I could edit the keys to where it would be more logical to the form of my hand, but when using the QWES style, I was still having to stretch to press the spacebar to jump and CTRL to crouch and what have you. It just didn't seem to be the way for me.
