What really old PC games would you like to see brought back?

For instance, Doom 3 was an example of a really old game series that was brought back. So were Return to Castle Wolfenstein and Quake 4. So when I say a really old game, I'm not talking about games from four or five years ago, I'm talking more like about ten+ years ago.Anyway, the game series I've wanted to see a remake for for quite a while now is Blake Stone. With some expansion upon and modernization of the original content (more weapons and gameplay capabilities, new/enhanced story, modifications of the original art design, etc.), it could be made into a really impressive modern FPS.Another game I'd like to see is another Jedi Knight game. Now, I know the last game made for the series isn't exactly ancient yet, but the game that started the series, Dark Forces, is.Another Duke Nukem would be cool, but that is being done with Duke Nukem Forever (it is still in development last I checked).I would love to see Commander Keen make a comeback. I'm not sure what sort of genre a new game for it would have to be, as I would imagine another 2D platformer wouldn't really catch many people's attention these days. I don't know if it would just be a 3D platformer or what. All I know is, Billy Blaze needs to come back into the picture.Jazz Jackrabbit 3 never did make it out. It'd be nice if someday someone restarted the project. That's all that comes to mind right now. There are of course more recent game series that I would like to see additions to (NOLF, for example), but again, I want try to stick to really old games, mostly those that haven't been touched in forever. How about you guys? What really old PC games would you like to see brought back?
How about Xwing?BTW, hasn't Commander Keen been done recently on one of the Game Boys? Thought I saw something like that a while ago... anyway, I loved those too on my Packard Bell!!What really old PC games would you like to see brought back?
Uh...I wouldnt consider doom 3 really old...Id like to see any of the Monkey Island games redone, or Grim Fandango.

I want to see a new bioforge or another addition to the magic carpet series, and well of course there's fallout 3 finally coming out.
Tetris %26 Pacman woooooh!!
Uh...I wouldnt consider doom 3 really old...Id like to see any of the Monkey Island games redone, or Grim Fandango.
I didn't say Doom 3 was old, I said it was an example of an old game series that was brought back (through Doom 3).
Xcom 1 and 2 (1994 and 1995 respectively). Crusader No Remorse and Crusader No Regret (1995 and 1996).
Yes, another NOLF! Please another NOLF :P and market it better, alot of people aren't even aware of the game (No One Lives Forever). HeheI have to admit though, if we're talking very old games, I think I was more of a console gamer (versus now where I'm full-time PC), although I did play some PC games too, just that console gaming at the time was more appealing. However, I wouldn't mind seeing an updated Space Quest, maybe done in a comical intergalactic GTA style?
^ I agree about the Crusader games.
I was also going to say XCOM and Crusader. Add Descent to the list as well.

RS
FREESPACE SERIES!!SACRIFICE!!GIANTS: CITIZEN KUBOTO!!DUNGEON KEEPER SERIES!!POPULOUS SERIES!!ALIENS VS PREDATOR SERIES!!BALDUR'S GATE SERIES!!HOMEWORLD SERIES!!FORSAKEN!!KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC SERIES!!HEAVY GEAR SERIES!!hmmm thats just from the top of my head.
Add Descent to the list as well.
I second that, as well.
Agree with blake stone and descent, and many other on the list as well.I would love to see: star trek armada 3 (but with much larger maps and civilizations)Rise of the Triad 2star wars: rebellion 2deus ex 2 (a real sequel)
My top three have already been listed seperatly here, but I'll list them again anyway:X-Wing Series: WHY hasn't Lucasarts made another one of these? They were on top in an age when ''space combat sims'' were a dime a dozen. I want another X-Wing/Tie Fighter more then any other game out there!X-Com: I know there have been ''pseudo-remakes'' lately, and they all fall short. A good X-com remake would be great! Luckly, there are a few other TBS games out there, so this isn't as high on my list as X-comCrusader Series: Probably the game I miss the most as I have no way to play anything like it (although the Killzone on PSP comes close.) These were great games. Very tactical and strategic I thought. Loved them. Don't know if there would be a market for these now days though (since everything has gone 1st or 3rd person.) Would be nice though.
Betrayal at Krondor, a sequel or remake would be awesome, since this is among the best RPG`s ever made.Moonstone 2Alien vs Predator 3a new Wing commander, made by Chris RobertsFreelancer, not that old, but still...Lands Of LoreEye Of The BeholderCurse Of Enchantiaetc etc
deus ex 2 (a real sequel)
Deus Ex? 2000? That's not an OLD PC game, don't even need DOSBox pffft :P Totally agree with you bro, and guess what Eidos Confirms Next Deus Ex ;) Maybe this will be a real/quality sequel.
xwing vs tie
AvP and Marathon. This may be off topic, but I'd also like to see a re-release of System Shock 1 and 2 that's compatible with XP and Vista, like they did with the original Doom and Quake games. I know that's highly doubtful, but it would be nice.
I think a remake of No One Lives Forever on the TF2 Source engine would be incredible. NOLF has that same kind of crazy gameplay like TF2.
