Crysis Demo Optimized Way better than Beta!!!!!!!

If your Rig didnt work for the beta, dont be discouraged. The Demo works for me on med specs no prob and the beta had lots of frame loss and tearing. Not with the demo, it it simply awseome 9.8 in my book!!!Crysis Demo Optimized Way better than Beta!!!!!!!

Well im happy for you guys but Im kinda po'd myself. My computer is powerful enough but my chipset isn't supported so no crysis for me...
The game is not optimised that amazingly. I get the same FPS as before. Impressed with game, not impressed with optimization.

With all medium settings I'm getting low 20s in action, low 30s in none-action. Thats pretty good for my system and the fact that I'm playing it in 1280x1024. I skipped the beta so I cant really compare.My specs are 4200+ X2 (OCed to 2.6GHz), X1900GT, (OCed to 5800MHz), 1 Gig RAM (my 2nd GIG of ram gets here from NewEgg on Monday).

I can't believe how big of an improvement the newest nvidia beta drivers provide. I started playing the demo with the previous beta driver...I was getting around 10 fps on very high with an 8800gtx and a 3ghz AMD X2. With the newest drivers it's 30fps or better all the time on very high. I run it on high though just so it's 45ish or better ALL the time.Get the newest beta drivers for nvidia cards if you haven't already.
Whats the latest beta drivers for the 8800gtx then? mines pretty choppy, on high. No v sync sux tho

I'd have to go track down fraps but on my system im playing at 1280x1024, 16xAA, and everything on High and it runs smooth as can be. If it dipped down in frames i never noticed. my guess solid 40 or 50fpsRig:
