Yeah I've been carded for all the games I've bought since I turned 17 (I'm eighteen now) and, well, if you can guess thats alot of games =/Ever been carded while purchasing games?
All the time, which is a problem seing as I'm under 17 :P
All the time. But only recently. When I was buying 'M' rated games at 15 I didn't get carded once.
Hehe, I used to be a sales rep at Toys R Us when I was about 16 and I remember having to card people. (The law just went into effect) The store had the potential to be fined thousands of dollars if they sold ''M'' rated games to minors. I kinda followed the rules, but sometimes it was ridiculous. Like the the guy was 16 or 17, I wasn't about to card him. Now, if he was 7 and wanted to buy Grand Theft Auto, I would ask him to bring a parent.
I get carded at gamespot every so often, even at 21 years old.
Yep, not recently though.
I was asked for ID once at EBGames earlier this year and some little girl at Best Buy asked me if I was aware the game I was buying was rated M. That was a few months ago. Do different stores have different policies regarding this?
What's wrong with this forum this time? It says I am not authorized to edit my own messages. I wouldn't need to edit my messages half the time if this weird forum didn't fuse my words together.
Just once - I tried to buy the original Grand Theft Auto game (which is rated 18 in UK) when it first came out, I was 13 at the time. But that's what parents are for...I'm 23 now (but still look very young), but I never get carded on anything any more, especially not games...
