Battlefield 2 kits

Sorry about all these battlefield 2 questions, I finally got the complete edition of battlefield, but on the kits is it possible to unlock the other kits or is that just on online? Also how do I unlock them, is it based on skill, kills, or what? Thanks for your help.Battlefield 2 kits

You get all the kits from the beginning....you unlock other WEAPONS for the kits by ranking up.
