Crysis High settings look better than Very High?

I am running Vista with a 8800GTX, 2gigs, and a Opteron 185. On very high 1440x900 it is playable but a little choppy, I switched everything to high but left on AA 16xQ and to me the game looks a lot better like this than very high. Anyone else have this impression or is something screwed up on my end? Of course it runs smooth as hell on that setting too.Crysis High settings look better than Very High?
i somewhat know what u mean. im running my game on very high everything except shaders and post processing 1280x1024with no AA. for some reason 2x drops just as much as 16xwhich drops the fps like 40%. but it does look pretty when its on, just slows down too much for my taste.Crysis High settings look better than Very High?
So from this I can cleary say that turning AA on in Crysis drops the fps's considerably? Because eve when I try to turn the AA on to 2x the computer freaks out :lol:
