Half Life 2: Why can't I see ';ACHIEVEMENTS'; on the menu?

I bought orange box.I have achievements on portal and ep2I already had Half Life 2and signed in hence i let it update.Is the problem that the ''1 Gift'' HL2 sitting in my account untouched is the only one with the unlockable achievements in?Half Life 2: Why can't I see ';ACHIEVEMENTS'; on the menu?

HL2:Ep2, TF2 and Portal are only source game that have achivements.

They haven't put achievements in yet, relax.

Do they plan to add the achievements in for Half-Life 2 and Episode 1 or not, or do we even know?
SPOSE THE NEXT Q IS...WOT DO THE ACHIEVEMENT POINTS ACTUALLY DO? DO THEY SERVE A PURPOSE ON XBOX LIVE?
Achievements do nothing, think of them as something else to do when you play through the game. Of course I worry about the diiection of some of the achievements forcing very different play styles.I also don't think achievements will be added to hl2 or ep1
Achievement are only here to show how much of yourlife you are ready to waste in a game.
I am pretty sure they wont have achievements
