How do I uninstall Steam?

I'm just gonna put my gaming on hold until I get my new comp cuz gaming on this one is unbearable. So I've uninstalled all my steam games I think but when I try to uninstall Steam it gives me some kind of error about my network so I'm just wondering, is there another way to uninstall it? I tried Start>Search and then searched for all files and folders with ''Steam'' and so right now I'm staring at a list of Steam files that I can delete. So should I just do that?How do I uninstall Steam?
so I'm guessing you used control pannel to delete it, if that didn't work, then right click and exit out of steam, and then try uninstalling, if that doesn't work, go into your main hard drive, program files, and find steam. then delete it!!! How do I uninstall Steam?
