I don't have the machine to play all the games anymore and i don't even try to download the demos. Can i get a quick review from your perspective. How are the latest demos for crysis, cod4, UT3?The games live up to everybodys general expectations or not?Can I get a couple of reviews for COD4, crysis, UT3
The CoD4 demo was good for some (like me) ownage... anyways the game is well optimized and should run euh fairly.Crysis will not be playable on a low end machine and UT3... that I haven't played yet.Can I get a couple of reviews for COD4, crysis, UT3
Call of Duty 4 is fast paced frantic fun, lots of friendly AI, lots of enemy AI, crazy intense firefights - the game relies on triggers and set pieces a lot. Frankly, it could be considered a highly professional mod for CoD2. But if you want to replay Call of Duty 2 but still get a fresh experience, CoD4 is a good place to look.I didn't play UT03 or 04, but I did play the original UT quite a bit when it first came out, and I think UT3 feels a lot like it. It's fast paced and fun, exactly like a deathmatch game should be; it has well designed and interesting maps and a wide assortment of well balanced weapons, as well as several game modes that will probably keep you playing a long while. Plus it looks utterly beautiful. I think it delivered on every promise the developers made.Crysis is just like FarCry, only better in just about every conceivable way. The combat is better, the presentation is of higher standard, the voice work is better, the level design is even a little more open, I think. There is diversity in the playstyles available and you may find yourself tapping F9 to try bits in different ways, to see how else you could have done it (basically exactly what Bioshock promised, then failed to delivery). It's also probably the best looking game on the planet. It definitely has that Cry feel, though. From the sandy beaches to the vehicles sequences to the shanty shacks built on piers.
